Job Description


The teacher assistant will be responsible for collaborating with teachers to monitor the development of each child.


The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Provide learning support and guidance to students

* Assist students with activities delegated by the teacher

* Monitor safety of students

* Ensure students are following school rules

* Assist students with hygiene needs as needed

* Record data collection on IEP and behavior goals

* In the event a student becomes a threat to themselves or others, it will be imperative that you provide support including the use of physical intervention techniques.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • College experience and or the completion of a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • The ability to work and build relationships with students and colleagues for the benefit of educational and behavioral progress.
  • A willingness to attend trainings and meetings to further your skill set.
