Job Description


Full-time educational supervision position in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Manage Title I instructional programs in private schools to ensure adherence to NESI educational standards and compliance requirements. Hire, train, monitor and evaluate the performance of teachers/reading specialists. Communicate with private school officials regarding design, implementation and evaluation of Title I program. Oversee communication with classroom teachers and parents and monitor the parent involvement component of the program. Ensure the implementation of quality programming and customer satisfaction through problem solving and frequent communication.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assure customer satisfaction, program quality control, and student achievement
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly and independently.  Corporate Systems include online Hiring, Payroll, Compliance, etc
  • Hire, train, and monitor teachers and evaluate teacher performance and program compliance
  • Provide leadership in the supervision of teachers with regard to implementation of the Title I Bypass instructional program including improvement of instruction to meet program goals and benchmarks
  • Coordinate efforts to obtain maximum utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and teacher time to provide an optimal learning environment at multiple sites in multiple LEAs
  • Initiate ongoing, timely and meaningful communication/consultation and establish a positive rapport with private school personnel
  • Review student assessment data, monitor for assessment driven instruction as well as coach and model effective research-based instructional methods and strategies
  • Monitor all program and compliance requirements to include neutrality, eligibility, participants, caseloads, schedules, assessment and student progress. Provide guidance to teachers in these areas as needed
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of pre-service and inservice activities on current research and effective instruction as well as goals, regulations and procedures of the Title I program
  • Participate in planning sessions, gathering program information and review of instructional materials and assessments. Monitor the completion and submission of NESI or required federal forms
  • Monitor Parent Involvement activities and Professional Development Goals as well as program equipment and materials for assigned sites and teachers
  • Submit monthly documents to project director and other documents as necessary

Job Requirements


  • Requires a Master’s Degree and Missouri certification in Elementary Education and Special Reading. A minimum of five years’ experience in teaching and two years’ experience in a supervisory position. Title I experience is preferred. Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with teachers, students, administrators and parents.


  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Must be willing to travel between multiple school sites
  • Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all clients and colleagues
  • Must be able to communicate and give directions to others, be well organized and flexible
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 programs (Word, Excel primarily). Email and Internet skills are essential. Must be able to use a scanner and Adobe for creating and sending PDF files


  • Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings
