Job Description

Overview

The Education Coordinator will provide support at school sites by supervising tutors, communicating with campus
staff and area manager, maintaining strong relationships with the school administration and staff, and ensure that program quality and student achievement goals are met.


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Hire, train and supervise qualified tutors
  • Communicate regularly with tutors to keep them aware of school related issues
  • Assure customer satisfaction, program quality assurance, and student achievement.
  • Communicate regularly with campus staff and area manager regarding program
    progress. Serve as liaison to bridge issues from school. Attend team meetings as required.
  • Attend regular meetings between tutor andclassroom teacher.
  • Establishes a positive professional rapport with school staff, principals, and the school
    district.
  • Submit monthly progress reports on tutoring status to Area Manager,
    Regional Directors and Regional Educational Quality Managers. Submit other
    documents as necessary.
  • Maintain STARS database. 


Job Requirements




EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor's degree in education field. Minimum of two years experience in a professional development support role along with related supervisory experience. Must be able to teach all basic skills or other related areas and interact with students and administrators.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible; ability to work a varied schedule during the school day.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
