Catapult Learning, the largest provider of K-12 contracted instructional services in the United States, is searching for an experienced Math Curriculum Manager to own the development of intervention math programs and products. S/he will be responsible for the planning and day-today management of the development of math curricula for intervention programs and assessment products. In addition, the Math Curriculum Manager will work cross-functionally to train and develop teachers and members of the sales team. This position will report to the Vice President, Academics. As part of the Curriculum Team, and under the management of the Vice President, Academics the Math Curriculum Manager will work collaboratively to define the scope and direction of math programs and projects, manage deliverables, inform budgets, manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, and/or oversee a team of part-time or freelance content developers. The Math Curriculum Manager will work cross-functionally to develop and manage print- and techbased math programs, products, and assessments.


  • Plan and manage project logistics to ensure timely and on‐budget completion of curriculum or assessment projects from inception to publication.
  • Develop UbD‐inspired math curricula for Title 1 intervention students.
  • Manage curriculum and content development, including all phases of development and production.
  • Partner with the assessment team to develop blueprint alignment and test assembly for custom assessments.
  • Keep abreast of current research including best practices in math education, intervention, and state and college and career ready standards.
  • Work with Executive Director of Product Development and the Math Curriculum team to create project plans, including budgets, timelines, as well as key milestones and deliverables.
  • Oversee all phases of product development, providing overall pedagogical guidance to ensure consistency, quality, and appropriateness by:
    1. Developing the scope and sequence for all levels of the math intervention programs
    2. Identifying the appropriate attributes for the development of math intervention and assessment materials
    3. Editing and refining math lessons and supporting materials
    4. Managing content writers and developmentally editing content to insure high‐quality and consistency
    5. Reviewing and revising supporting materials
    6. Partnering with the Instructional Excellence and Technology teams to pilot new programs, gather feedback and data, and assess necessary changes
    7. Maintaining and updating existing products

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree AND at least five (5) years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the education industry, including in developing print-based and technology-based content and curricula
  • Experience leading significant projects in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment
  • Experience teaching math and/or math intervention
  • Outstanding analytical and project management capabilities
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including strong organizational, time management, and people and vendor management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; comfortable with Internet-based tools and applications
