What you will do as a Sales Coordinator for Catapult Learning:

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with regional operations teams and corporate shared services teams to create new expansion business opportunities for Catapult Learning’s Education Solutions or Schools Group division. Primary responsibilities are focused on lead generation, securing professional development contracts as well follow up and client development in key markets. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for developing quality relationships primarily through telephone contact. Relationships are also developed through internal and client planning meetings and basic client account management. This key role will partner with several markets in multiple states.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Partner with corporate teams in Marketing, Business Development, Operations and Corporate Support to assist with facilitating a comprehensive business development and marketing plans for designated opportunities
  • Regularly contact prospects via telephone to engage and determine interest level and buying power
  • Develop positive professional relationships with school district administration at all levels and where necessary throughout identified education and independent school communities
  • Advance relationships with nurtured contacts through telephone, direct mail, marketing campaigns, sales events and occasional on-site meetings
  • Develop a comprehensive level of market intelligence about Catapult Learning products and services, the education marketplace, Catapult's primary competitors, to understand how to position our value proposition
  • Goals and evaluations are based on the ability to generate leads that create both new partnerships and expand existing business

Job Requirements

Education and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of experience working with a sales team. Experience with Inside Sales or within the K-12 industry is a plus. We seek a detailed professional who takes initiative, works independently toward goals and who is excited by a fast-paced sales environment. Strong writing skills are needed as well as outstanding verbal communication skills. Top sales candidates also have solid research, and problem-solving skills to drive results. Experience with CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics or is helpful.
