Overview

Catapult Learning is looking for a driven HRIS analyst to join our team. This individual will provide analytically consultative services that enable our HR organization to execute against data-driven strategies. They also will be responsible for owning the development, measurement, and improvement of key recruiting/HR initiatives and will serve as a trusted analytical thought partner.


Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Become a deep subject matter expert of our core business functions and be able to leverage your analytical toolkit in the formation of creative solutions for key business opportunities;
  • Ensure the consistent application and interpretation of key HR data and analyses across the organization through partnership, reporting, and business intelligence;
  • Form strong relationships with HR business partners to develop deep context about the organization;
  • Be the eyes and ears for our broader People Analytics team and partner with Core Analytics to identify areas to streamline central analytical processes and programs;
  • Design and execute analytical approaches to address key talent-related questions, balancing rigor and creativity with practically;
  • Drive complex analytical projects that require the use of advanced quantitative methods on people and people-related data from multiple systems, and outside data sources;
  • Partner closely with other People Analytics team members to inform their roadmap and vice-versa, for example guiding the direction of what new data to collect, or what to measure/monitor in live dashboards;
  • Work collaboratively with key partners such as our Talent Advisors to hone and iterate on Catapult’s approach to strategic workforce planning;
  • Create executive level presentations to bring out insights clearly and concisely;
  • Proactively develop standard and ad-hoc reports for customers in HR and other departments, including dashboards/key metrics such as Recruiting Funnel, Headcount, and Turnover, to support strategic initiatives;
  • Identify business process changes within the HCM system, which increases efficiency and improves user acceptance and overall experience. Proactively formulate ideas and recommendations for system improvements;
  • Support application enhancements, upgrades, and patches through development and execution of test scripts, documentation of test results and escalation of issues as required;
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools;
  • Resolve and troubleshoot issues related to data tables or fields to ensure proper reporting to internal and external customers;
  • Develop and deliver training to end users. Create procedural training materials, quick tips; help documents, etc. where appropriate;
  • Collaborate across HR, IT, Payroll and Finance in order to ensure data accuracy and reporting activities;
  • Assist with audit responsibilities, including developing and executing audit queries for HR data integrity;
  • Participate in special projects as required;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned;
  • Maintain confidential HR data.

Job Requirements



What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, or other business operations focus;
  • 5+ years of management consulting, operations, finance or other analytical related experience. People Analytics in a high-growth or recruiting environment a plus;
  • Analysis expertise in one or more analytical tools: Cognos BI, Tableau, or Statistical Analysis Software (SAS). Fluency with spreadsheets is a minimum. Knowledge and fluency in SQL, Python, or R a plus;
  • Data-driven and highly analytical - you’re able to translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at an executive level;
