Job Description


The Educational Recruiter position is responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for open positions throughout specific territories. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical functions, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Processes job requisitions
  • Researches and attends hiring fairs in Chicagoland area 
  • Research local area colleges for teachers/tutors 
  • Coordinate with Regional Director and Supervisors to determine best recruiting process for open positions 
  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies
  • Post open positions
  • Contact qualified candidates and schedule interviews
  • Screen and interview potential applicants
  • Conduct employment verifications
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers
  • Coordinates background checks
  • Maintains employee referral program
  • Conducts orientation of new employees
  • Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
  • Completes report on employment activity
  • Conducts exit interviews with terminated employees 

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Human Resource Management preferred;

or comparable combination of education and experience
